Camel FAQs

Does the bike come mostly assembled? I'm a novice and is it easy to assemble?

Your bike will arrive mostly assembled. We will provide the tools and a comprehensive assembly video so you can assemble your Haoqi Bike bike within 20mins even if you are a novice.

Do I need a license and Insurance to ride ebike on the road?

No. The e-bike from Haoqi is completely under US regulations and laws which allow you to ride it without specific license and insurance.

How to unlock the speed limit？

The Camel is a Class 2 eBike by default, meaning the speed is limited. However, you can unlock it to reach up to 28 mph , which switches it to Class 3 mode.

To unlock the max speed on the Camel:
1.Turn on the LCD display.
2.Within 5 seconds, pinch the brake lever exactly 5 times.
⚠️ Do not pinch more than 5 times, or the speed will lock again.

Where can I ride an electric bike?

An electric bike is legally treated the same as a normal bike. You can ride an electric assisted bike anywhere you can ride your regular bike.

Is the battery of my Haoqi bike removable？

The battery can be removed and recharged.
