I have a Galaxy S10 5G which is larger than most phones, and I've disregarded several phone holders because my phone wouldn't fit. This one does the charm. I really like the joint part, its design is ingenious. I've only done a test ride so far but the phone stays in place on bumpy roads. I'll have to see how long this lasts but for now it's perfect. The attachable pads only came in the same thickness though; manual says they're supposed to be of different thickness. Not that it matters cuz luckily this size is fine. All in all great bang for your buck, especially if you have a large phone
Fits note 9 with a speck case without a problem. Very sturdy. Love how easily you can release and put the phone on the mount. My only issue was with the steel arms getting a little stiff after a couple of uses. The steel arms inside rub against each other each time you expand them. A little oil however did the trick.
I got this for my bicycle, however I was quite pleasantly surprised when I open the box and it stated that it can also be used in ebike! Score! This thing is very I mean very sturdy. I have an iPhone Xs Max (the really large one) and it works with this holder perfectly. The inclusion of the lock mechanism is ingenious. Basically you extend the arms by pulling two diagonally opposite as far as you need to get your phone in and then let the spring grab onto the phone. Once in place there is a red switch on the back side which mechanically locks the phone into place by locking the arms. And I mean, they will not go anywhere. The attachment to the handle of the bike is also very accommodating as they include several rubber gaskets to fit many different diameters. Another very nice and thoughtful thing is that the thumb screw used to attach to the hand also has a hex screw on it. This is great because it allows you to tight it VERY strong which will help prevent someone from manually removing from the bike unless they happen to have that size of hex key on hand. A very nice and affordable option for a sturdy and well thought out phone holder. After going on about 8 or so rides without any issues, I personally would recommend this one. Please let me know if you found this helpful, and if you have questions or would like to see other pictures feel free to leave a comment below and I will do my best to answer it. Cheers. Cass
Installation was easy and so far after a few rides the mount is holding steady. Had to tighten it up after the first ride but it's been solid ever since. I like how easy it is to take the phone in and out of the holder. A small lever switch on the back engages a lock to hold the X bracket in place. Simply flip the lever and expand the bracket to get your phone out. I have a OnePlus 6T with a case, a rather large phone and it fits in the holder with ease.
