1. Does my height fit the Haoqi bike? What size people fit this bike?

The recommended rider heights is 5'3" - 6'4".

 

2. Does the bike come mostly assembled? I'm a novice and is it easy to assemble?

Your bike will arrive mostly assembled. We will provide the tools and a comprehensive assembly video so you can assemble your Haoqi Bike bike within 20mins even if you are a novice.

 

3. Is the Bike with Fenders?

Yes, the bike with two fenders, it has to install yourself after receiving the package. E-bike full fenders*2, multi-function repair tool*1, Rear rack*1, Charge*1, Headlight and Taillights

4. Do I need a license and Insurance to ride ebike on the road?
No. The e-bike from Haoqi is completely under U.S regulations and laws which allow you to ride it without specific license and insurance.

 

5. Where can I ride an electric bike?


An electric bike is legally treated the same as a normal bike. You can ride an electric assisted bike anywhere you can ride your regular bike.

 

6.  Which class does the Haoqi Leopard belong to?


Class 1 has a top speed of 20 mph without pedaling.
Class 2 has a top speed of 20 mph without pedaling and has a throttle.
Class 3 has a top speed of 28 mph without pedaling.
Haoqi Leopard belongs to the class 2.

 

7. Can the speed limit be cancelled?


We do not recommend lifting the speed limit, if it is lifted, it will definitely affect the mileage. After the speed is released, it can rise to class3 level.

 

8.Does the bike have more colors?

At the moment, we have three colors, we are going to offer more color options in the future.

 

9.Is the battery of my Haoqi bike removable?

 The battery can be removed and recharged.

 

10.Can I ride into the rain? What is the waterproof rating?

Haoqi electric Bike battery is sealed well enough for the bikes to be safely ridden in light rain. IP 50. 
However, it is not recommended to ride them through very heavy downpours, or through flooded streets when the crank and/or the motor can get splashed or even covered with water. It is best to take shelter until the rain eases and the roads are no longer covered with water.

 

11. Why was my credit card payment fail?

If you pay with credit card, your payment could be  somehow denied at the checkout by our system in defense against possible credit card fraud. It's a good idea to call your credit card company or bank ahead of time to let them know about the purchase so that it doesn't get declined. Under such circumstance, here are 3 solutions for you:1. Please switch to your other credit or debit card.2. If you have a Paypal account, please try to pay by PayPal.3. If you do not have a Paypal account, please select PayPal still at the checkout page & click the complete order button. Then you'll be directed to a page with access to both PayPal and Debit/Credit card payment (for the latter option, you don't have to register for PayPal).Then you can complete your order with your credit card.

 

 12. How long does it take to charge the battery?
Under normal circumstances, charging the battery from empty to full typically takes 6-9 hours. In rare cases, it may take longer to allow the battery management system to balance the battery, particularly when the bike is new or after long periods of storage.

 

13.Should l completely drain the battery before charging?
It’s not necessary to completely drain the battery before charging. Of course on many batteries this is preferred, however our batteries are all high-tech batteries and have built-in mechanisms that protect the battery from overcharging.

 

14.If something goes wrong on my ebike during the warranty period, what should I do?
We believe that communication is the best way to solve the problems. Please contact us in time. To help you solve the problem as quickly as possible, please describe the problem in details and provide photos and videos to us, so that we could find the problems. All our ebikes come with a 2-year manufacture’s warranty. To learn more about the warranty, please read our warranty page.

 

15.How to clean my Haoqi ebike?
Just cleaning your Haoqi ebike like cleaning a regular bike. The battery can handle water, but it is recommended to remove the battery before hosing down your ebike.

 

16.How long will it take to receive my ebike?
Please refer to the shipping date on the product page. A shipping confirmation email will be sent to your email once the order has shipped. The carrier is Fedex or UPS. Once the items arrived in our warehouse, please allow 2-7 business days of delivery. For any third-party shipping, we are unable to provide any additional shipping information or documentation. In addition, the delivery dates provided by Haoqi Bikes are estimated.
